Blueprint — ACA International

BCFS is Blueprint certified. The Blueprint Program includes 18 basic elements which relate to management of the business, support of the business documentation and data control, process controls, inspection and testing, identification of nonconformity, corrective action, preventative action and Continuous Improvement.

All of our recovery representatives maintain a Professional Collection Specialists Certification from ACA International. ACA International is the Association of Credit and Collection Professionals. Less than one percent of ACA's member agencies have been able to achieve this certification. To be awarded certification in Blueprint, agencies need to demonstrate they have implemented the system within their organization, confirmed by independent audit. Certification requirements include setup of a Professional Practices Manual, annual executive management review of Blueprint, development of a Continuous Improvement Program, adherence to an Internal Auditing Program and creation of a Corrective Action Program to effectively handle complaints. Developing and documenting management systems for collection agencies is the core of the ACA International Agency Certification Program.

SSAE 18 Type II Compliant

SSAE 18 Type II is an internationally recognized auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). SSAE 16 is an acronym for “Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements 18”.

SSAE 18 Type II provides assurance that a service organization has had its control objectives and control activities examined by an independent accounting and auditing firm. The audit report enables service organizations to demonstrate that they have adequate controls and safeguards when they host or process data belonging to their customers.

Professional Collection Specialists Certification — ACA International

Each BCF collector maintains a current designation from the Association of Credit and Collection Professionals (ACA International) as a Certified Professional Collection Specialist (PCS). This program teaches collectors professional and ethical collection practices to ensure the highest level of service is provided to our clients at all times.

Payment Card Industries — Data Security Standards Certified

BCF is PCI-DSS Certified. Payment Card Industries — Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS) was created to regulate organizations that process card payments. It helps prevent credit card fraud and other security breaches through increased controls around data and its exposure to compromise. This certification is renewed quarterly and ensures security standards are consistently met.
